High Speed steel Bowl Gouges
Made with the classic 'V'-shaped deep flute. The range begins with the smallest being 1/4", to the very impressive 3/4". Extra long versions are also available. They are milled from round bars providing mass and stability. Depending on the grind this type of tool can be used for the heavy profiling cuts to the delicate finishing cuts on all types of cross-grain work. With the correct profile it can also be used for turning spindles.
